” this cinematic masterpiece is slated for its premiere on September 2, 2025 – exactly one year after Chief Koleosho’s passing.

” delves into Chief Koleosho’s captivating journey from his humble beginnings in Saki to his influential position in Oyo State politics. Spanning a career of over four decades, the film encapsulates the essence of a man admired not only for his political prowess but also for his altruistic leadership.

In the words of Oloketuyi, the movie serves as more than just a homage; it is a medium to enlighten and empower the younger generation. He expressed, “Chief Koleosho’s story is rich with lessons in integrity, perseverance, and governance. We aim to showcase to our youth what can be achieved through a lifetime committed to public service.”

The choice of September 2 for the premiere holds significant symbolism as it aligns with the first anniversary of Chief Koleosho’s demise in 2024 at the age of 86. Alongside the premiere, special events are being organized in Abuja and Ibadan as tributes to this illustrious statesman.

An ensemble cast comprising talented actors such as Femi Branch, Joke Muyiwa, Biola Adebayo, Ayo Mogaji, Yemi Sodimu, and Bolaji ‘Mr. Latin’ Amusan breathes life into Koleosho’s narrative on screen. Hailing from Saki himself, Koleosho kickstarted his professional journey in civil service before venturing into entrepreneurship by establishing Esmak Nigeria Limited – a company involved in various sectors including commodity distribution and real estate.

His political expedition was equally groundbreaking; starting uncontested as a councilor in 1976 paved his way to becoming a prominent member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Ifedapo constituency under Chief Obafemi Awolowo’s Unity Party of Nigeria. Subsequently appointed as Secretary to the State Government during Governor Lamidi Adesina’s tenure from 1999 to 2003 further solidified his impactful presence in governance.
