Igbos Embrace Unity Young Professionals Advocate Support for Tinubu in 2027 Election

A group of dynamic Igbo professionals, known as the South East Progressive Ambassadors (SEPA 2027), recently made a resounding call for unity and strategic alignment within the Igbo community. Led by John CDO Ikeotuonye, Justin Ogoo Nwankwo, and Vivian Chinyere Nnajiofor, SEPA 2027 urged fellow Igbos to rise above the clamor of political coalitions and focus on a cohesive approach that aligns with the national political landscape.

In a powerful statement at their group launch, SEPA 2027 emphasized the importance of Igbos actively participating in shaping Nigeria’s future by throwing their support behind Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The group highlighted the significance of the South East region taking center stage instead of operating from the sidelines.

“We must ignore the wave of coalitions going on in the country and keep our eyes fixed on the national political interplay where even the best of the North are realigning to APC and Bola Ahmed Tinubu camp,”

stated SEPA 2027. They stressed that it was time for progressive voices in the South East to assert themselves clearly and rationally without being swayed by emotional or sentimental influences.

The call for unity among Igbos was underlined by a sense of urgency as SEPA 2027 pointed out discrepancies within political parties across different states in Southeast Nigeria. The group stressed that consolidating under a common platform was imperative for effective representation and influence.

As part of their vision for 2027, SEPA underscored not just endorsing but strategically aligning with candidates who embody values such as youth inclusion, legacy continuity, data-driven advocacy, and grassroots engagement. They invited stakeholders from various sectors to collaborate in fostering a grassroots movement aimed at securing meaningful representation.

“It is about strategic alliance, positioning, legacy continuity, youth inclusion, and national cohesion,”

noted SEPA 2027 members. By advocating for a united front supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR in 2027, they sought to position themselves not only as supporters but as active contributors to governance.

The group’s unwavering stance on unity resonated throughout their message:

“We must unite now or never!”

They cautioned against self-marginalization through disunity within their ranks and emphasized halting any drift towards marginalization by external forces.

SEPA’s clarion call serves as a rallying cry for Igbos to transcend divisive narratives and stand together in solidarity towards shaping a collective destiny. As they navigate intricate political landscapes leading up to 2027 elections, unity emerges as a potent force capable of propelling meaningful change and ensuring impactful representation for all stakeholders involved.
