As the political landscape heats up, Dr. Dennis Otuaro, the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), is rallying support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid. In a recent statement, Otuaro emphasized the importance of backing Tinubu for a second term and highlighted the endorsement from South-South All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders.
Addressing reporters in Abuja, Otuaro commended the South-South APC leaders and governors for selecting Tinubu as their preferred candidate for the 2027 presidential election. He stressed that this decision was a testament to Tinubu’s unwavering dedication to the region and its people.

Otuaro pointed out that President Bola Tinubu has demonstrated genuine interest in advancing the development of Niger Delta through various initiatives and projects. He lauded Tinubu’s efforts in implementing significant projects such as establishing key institutions like Maritime University at Okerenkoroko and Federal University of Environment and Technology in Ogoniland.
Highlighting President Tinubu’s support for regional development agencies like South-South Development Commission, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), and PAP, Otuaro underlined how these actions signify a commitment to fostering growth and progress within the Niger Delta community.

“I urge the South-South and Niger Delta people to embrace this informed position…it positions us well to attract more development through a listening leader,”
said Otuaro.
